Logline: When society is educated for a world that no longer exists, can a young college grad find the rebirth of education within “The Killer App?”

When Kaoru entered the 21st century job market she found her 25,000-hour investment in school prepared her for a world that no longer exists.

Seeking guidance from education gurus like Geoffrey Canada, New York Times best selling authors Daniel Pink, Thomas Friedman and Malcolm Gladwell, psychologist and philosopher Alison Gopnik and business/education advisor Sir Ken Robinson -she pieces together a plan to hack into society’s most impenetrable systems. The first one being education.

“The Killer App” is a full-length documentary about finding an education system for the youtube generation. With curiosity, humor and a whole lot of googling, can a young college grad find the paradigm shift needed to transform education for the 21st century?
